As we close this chapter of STASH’s young history and prepare to open a new one, we are filled with gratitude and excitement. 2012 was a year of enormous growth for us. Not only did we increase our offerings ten fold, we also met many more of you, including some of Norman’s movers and shakers.

In November, we decided to have a “block party” in STASH’s Annex. We invited some of Downtown Norman’s finest minds including artists, city employees, local business owners, stylists, educators, and caring citizens for a pot-luck brainstorming session to focus on improving our area of Downtown. We didn’t really know what we were doing.

Keisha Register, who is immeasurably to thank for this all happening in the first place (!), was in attendance to photograph the party. Also to thank is Shawn Downey for assisting Keisha during the shoot. Here are some of Keisha’s beautiful captures of the evening:

So on this first day of a new year, we are looking back a bit to November 2012. We knew then, just as much as we do now, that we want to see “Our” Norman grow into all she can be– in so many creative, sustainable, and prosperous ways. We are also looking forward. We hope that a dialogue has been started, even if nothing specific has been planned (yet!). We invite your thoughts. How would you like to see Norman grow? What’s working now? What’s not? Please take a moment to share your thoughts in the comment section below. We love to hear from you– always!

May your 2013 be full of joy, love, and light!

XO,

Della and Rebecca
